Background
Alicia D. White, Au.D., C.C.C.-A., earned her doctorate in audiology from A.T. Still University and a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology and a master’s degree in audiology from Towson University. Dr. White is trained in the field of audiology with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (C.C.C.-A.) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. White has over 25 years of experience with an emphasis on pediatric patients.She offers a full range of professional audiological services for pediatric patients, including comprehensive audiological evaluation including visual reinforcement audiometry and conditioned play audiometry, auditory brainstem response testing, otoacoustic emissions testing, hearing aid selection and fitting using real ear measurements, and osseointegrated bone-anchored devices.She also serves as audiologist for the Johns Hopkins Cleft Clinic Multidisciplinary Team.Her research interest include incidence and prevalence of sensorineural hearing loss in infants born with congenital cytomegalovirus.
