Background
Nicole Schechter is an assistant professor and rehabilitation psychologist in the Johns Hopkins Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She specializes in working with individuals with chronic health conditions and disability, with specific interest in working with individuals with spinal cord injury/dysfunction and chronic pain.
Dr. Schechter is also an active trainer, researcher and program developer, studying provider-patient communication and the impacts on provider confidence, skills, and attitudes and patient health outcomes.
