The Johns Hopkins Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides a three-year (PGY2-4) residency program with extensive training in the evidence-based diagnosis, care and treatment of patients with disabilities. Our goal is to train leaders in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. We hope you will find our program exciting, fulfilling and career-enhancing.

Application reviews begin. We do factor in preference signals in our interview decision.
October 23
The last day when we send interview invitations (we have about 80 interview spots).
November 2
Virtual interviews begin.

Residents receive a broad inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation experience, comprehensive didactics and opportunities for research.

How to Apply
The program has eight PGY2 positions each year. Candidates should apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) in the fall.
Johns Hopkins PM&R Residency Program Overview
We train our residents to become future leaders in the field. The program provides a wide variety of experiences in inpatient and outpatient clinical physiatry as well as many opportunities for research, teaching, community engagement and quality improvement.
